I loved this session for so many reasons. Lizzie showed up in a gorgeous dress as a second option to her blush rental she chose. (Don’t even get my started on how much I LOVE blush though!) The first gown option she found at Windsor. Although it is worn as maternity, it is not only a maternity gown and could make for an amazing engagement dress or dress for family photos. It was so beautiful and photographed beautifully.

Her second dress she chose was the blush sew trendy gown, one of the many gowns available to my clients. I stock a variety of white, blush and pale blue or neutrals. Of all the gowns, I love blush gowns as they photograph well and neutral or muted colors really allow for the photo to be bright and airy and beautiful to compliment the desert glow.

They are expecting a baby girl and are so excited for her arrival. I love the way they talked about being parents and welcoming a new little one. It is always so exciting to hear new and eager parents.

This session was rescheduled from a day when we got rained out. I am so glad that it rained because it allowed us to have this beautiful sunset and glow for many of the photos and had it have been just cloudy, we wouldn’t have had that. Wednesday, the rain said it wouldn’t start until after sunset but then as time went by that day, the rains plans moved earlier and earlier. I mentioned that we should reschedule but Lizzie had hair and makeup plans and really wanted to make it work. I told her we could try but I wasn’t sure the rain would hold off. Unfortunately, (well fortunately) it started to rain too soon and we had to reschedule.

Although Lizzie had her hair and makeup done both days, it was so worth the reschedule and outcome for that perfect, beautiful, desert glow. I love using the sun to create both warm and bright images. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
