This session to welcome sweet Grayson was one of my favorite. I loved his sweet nursery and their stat board. They also had the cutest blocks to count how many weeks/ months he is. I love how they used blue and pops or orange (the complementary color on the color wheel) It really stood out but wasn’t overbearing. From Grayson’s tiny toes to his tiny nose and sweet little birthmark, he is so loved by his parents already.
These lifestyle sessions really capture those intimate and real moments of parenting and all the emotions that go with it. I love being able to document how he held his moms finger, how he looks right as dad, how he smiled, how he cried, etc. All of these moments go by in such a flash. These documentary lifestyle sessions are not to miss.
I have been doing these lifestyle sessions around 6 weeks old, versus the studio sessions I do less than 2 weeks old. The reason for waiting a bit longer is I love to include baby a bit more alert and awake. Lifestyle sessions are not posed, so it allows me to let baby do their thing and interact with their parents and I can sit back and capture those real moments of soothing and loving on their sweet baby boy.
