Purple is the wedding color of the year and I love this color palette. I love how the bridesmaid gowns are different shades of purple and how the girls have different tops. Purple has always been my favorite color (and was actually my very own wedding color 5 years ago) and I am SO glad to see it now trending! Although my wedding wasn’t this beautiful. In hindsight, I wish I had done more research, went simpler and knew more about what I really wanted. I encourage all the couples out there to have a planner. Planners are so important and they know what’s current and what your options are for your budget. They know how to make things come together and look amazing. So if you need a planner, feel free to reach out and I would be more than happy to share some recommendations:
Okay, now to chat a little about this amazing wedding and what made these details so incredibly special. First, the gowns, including the bridal gown were all custom made from scratch! (How special is that experience?!) From drawing up inspiration to choosing fabric and measurement fittings, Your Wedding Affair specializes in custom bridal and bridesmaid gown design. Don’t these girls look amazing. Straight out of a magazine and beautifully dolled up by Scottsdale’s own Vidogi Salon.
The sweet and simple cake, one of my favorites made by Amour de Sucre. (But anything she makes tastes equally as amazing.) Really, I had her chocolate chip cupcakes and went to heaven for a minute. Okay sorry, got distracted thinking about cake, back to this amazing wedding…
I love capturing the bright Arizona light and can we talk about the venue?! My goodness, Mountain Shadows provides such a beautiful mountain backdrop with a gorgeous view of Camelback Mountain in the distance. A custom arch by AZ Retro Rentals completed this ceremony space and are decorated with stunning floral pieces from Poppy Design Co. We had the dream team working together here!
Madie made the most stunning and happy bride and enjoyed smiling and sharing her love for her groom, Brent. I love the way their love outshined the Arizona Sun.
Cheers to all the purple- loving, beautiful brides out there!
